What medications are not allowed?

Absolutely no medications on the DEA's list of scheduled medications will be allowed, such as; xanax (alprazolam), klonopin (clonazepam), buprenorphine (suboxone, subutex), methadone etc. (THIS LIST IS NOT ALL INCLUSIVE) You can learn more about scheduled drugs and see the alphabetical list here: Drug Scheduling
What should I bring with me?

Bring headphones for audio program. Bring work and dress clothes (NO SLOGANS ABOUT BEER, BARS, DRUGS, SEX, WOMEN/MEN, TOBACCO, MUSIC or ANYTHING CONTRARY TO THE CHRISTIAN LIFESTYLE will be allowed). Bring your own washcloths and towels (mark your name on them). Bed linens are provided. Bring your own personal toiletry items which must be unopened, EXCEPT FEMININE PRODUCTS, they will be provided for you. Tampons are NOT allowed. (nothing with alcohol, i.e.; mouthwash, body sprays, perfumes, or aerosols) Bring a cloth mesh 36x24 laundry bag. (can be purchased as Wal-Mart) Bring a Bible if you have one. A basic wristwatch is recommended (NO smart watches are allowed). Canteen money. If possible, please bring toilet paper, napkins, Kleenex and paper towels. To make calls home, bring enough extra cash to use our landline. If you smoke, cigarettes only, no other form of tobacco (NO VAPES OR E CIGS) Laundry Detergent, dryer sheets, fabric softener. Please bring medications for the duration of the stay or have means to have them filled and paid for. If any court is ahead, bring all the paperwork with emails, phone numbers in case of a letter needing to be sent to attorney or probation. Vitamins are allowed only in a new and sealed container (NO weightlifting supplements).
What should I not bring with me?

No clothing with slogans about beer, bars, drugs, sex, women/men, tobacco, music, or anything contrary to the Christian lifestyle will be allowed. Do not bring bed linens as they are provided. Do not bring any toiletry items with alcohol in it, i.e.; mouthwash, body sprays, perfumes, or aerosols. Do not bring tampons, feminine products will be supplied. No body piercing rings or studs worn anywhere on your body. No radios, stereos, walkmans, CD/Tape/MP3/DVD of any kind. No video games or cards. No cell phones or laptop computers. No smart watches or fitbits. In other words; no electronic devices period. No over the counter medications. No caffeinated drinks or coffee. No vapes or E Cigs. No weightlifting supplements. **DO NOT SHOW UP HIGH OR DRUNK! WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO HOLD YOUR RIDE AND SCREEN YOU IF YOU SEEM TO BE HIGH OR DRUNK AND SEND YOU BACK HOME!!!**
Can I smoke at Bethesda Transformation Center?

Smoking is strongly discouraged but permitted only in the designated area and during approved times. Only manufactured cigarettes are allowed—vapes, e-cigarettes, roll-your-own tobacco, and all other tobacco products are strictly prohibited.
